Hey now Michelle, never put yourself down nor hate the way you look. Even if you are in a diet, may I tell you something that might help? If you have neg. feeling about yourself your diet will not work! Please no matter what, everytime you see yourself or even just think about yourself, always & yes I mean ALWAYS tell yourself that you like who you are at this moment!! Believe me once you start doing this, and start believing in yourself, you will be able to overcome ANYTHING you set your mind to. I BELIEVE IN YOU!

Many years ago I realized the importance of portion control. I plan out what I am going to eat each day including the proper portion. This way I don't suddenly binge on the wrong things. And I eat every few hours. It takes planning, but it is worth it. I write out my menu for the week each Sunday and do my grocery shopping. I also cook for a husband and three children. With effort it is possible. I never feel that I deprive myself. I eat great tasting food and I go out to dinner weekly. I never feel like I am dieting. I feel that I am just eating healthy. The recipes on this website are great and I highly recommend the cookbook.

I agree that portion size is the key to losing weight and keeping it off. Take some time to plan your food each day and measure and count! It works!
