Need a last-minute Thanksgiving dish? Bring a healthy dish to the table and wow everyone with flavor.

It’s Thanksgiving. Everyone wants to bring their favorite dish, or needs to have both pumpkin and apple pie (with whipped cream on top, please). With all the rich, heavy choices, you’ll be staggering away from the table, barely able to move. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

If you’re not hosting this year, choose from our selection of healthy sides and scrumptious desserts to bring to the table. Our recipes are twists on the traditional, with added nutritional boosts. High-impact flavors like fresh herbs, prosciutto, ginger and seasonal fruit eliminate the need for gobs of butter, cream and salt. We’ve mashed celery root and rutabaga along with the potatoes to add flavor and a burst of nutrients. We even included pumpkin in a chocolate cake, which bumps up the vitamin A. With these recipes you can eat healthfully and still enjoy all of the wonderful flavors of Thanksgiving.
