How do you get the coconut to stick to the banana?
Cindy, IN |
Is one slice one serving?

So yummy & sweet & no sugar & so satisfying! Shared a banana with grandson, who loved helping to make & eat it!

Half a banana is a serving. to get the coconut to stick, smush it in. Or never mind, just let the coconut sit on top and try not to apill too much.

I would try some crushed walnuts on top

Sounds great - but I could easily eat 4 of those. And with 80 calories per slice (320 calories-that's a meal!)- yikes! But I am sure it's delicious.

I made this for my family for after dinner. The only thing I did different was that I sliced up the banana's more and put them into a bowl. Then before we eat dinner I mixed in the cocoa and the coconut so it would sit for alittle bit. I also used 3 banana's. Everyone Loved it!! The kids had theirs on a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My husband and I had it alone in a dish. My kids asked if we could have this every night!

For coconut to stick first roll uncut banana in cocoa, then slice and dip into coconut

Mash up another banana and spread on the sliced ones-then put coconut on top. Slightly press down and it should stay on.

If you cannot eat coconut try crushing
walnuts or filberts(hazelnuts) using this method you would need to put something ontop of the banana to help the nuts to stick I suggest a thin layer of honey.. but it adds sugar but sure is yummy
