Nearly 30 staff members and interns at EatingWell took on the serious job of taste-testing the top 10 semi-finalists in our holiday cookie contest, chosen from over 100 entries submitted by EatingWell readers. While “healthy” isn’t usually a term that one associates with cookies, the ones we tested meet the EatingWell nutritional guidelines while still being sweet and satisfying. After sampling the goodies (with palate-cleansing milk between bites), we voted for our top six favorites, giving a double nod to the cookie we thought was most deserving of the $500 grand prize.

While we can’t reveal the final results of our Holiday Cookie Contest just yet, we can give you the recipes to judge for yourself. Bake one batch or try all 10 semi-finalists, or merely judge the cookies by how delicious they sound to you! (See the recipes below.)

We’ll end the voting on September 14 and announce the Readers’ Choice Winner, along with the Editors' Choice $500 Grand Prize winner and the 5 runners-up in the November/December issue of EatingWell Magazine (on sale October 30) and at EatingWell.com during the month of November.

They all look good, but my favourite is the fudge chocolate chip ginger cookie.

I loved the Zaletti, but made an even better change to it by adding mini chocolate chips to the mixture before baking and then drizzling each cookie with bittersweet chocolate that has been melted.

This is good cookies n i like it. But i think if u do dark chocolate drizzle than it's very delicious because all people like dark chocolate, m i rite? I have also almond cookies recipe this is also good n tasty. GOOD LUCK.
