Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for driving online advertising revenue with sale of premium banner advertising, e-newsletters, video, sponsorships and online savings coupons.
- Identify new advertising opportunities with direct marketers, online advertisers and agencies.
- Generate assigned volume of sales related activity including cold calling, presentations and RFPs.
- Consult with clients on their marketing needs and creatively design ad solution packages.
- Work cooperatively with existing EatingWell magazine advertising sales group for integrated online and magazine programs.
- Some travel is required.
Required Qualification/Skills:
- Proven track record of success in online media sales.
- Established relationships with interactive agencies a plus. Food and Health category knowledge a plus.
- Familiar with Internet Advertising Bureau guidelines and specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Familiar with Ad Servers and ability to analyze and report on campaign results.
- Strong ability to manage outbound calls.
- Pro-active seller with clients and agencies.
- Must be highly motivated and a team player.
- Must have integrity and strong work ethic as well as the ability to manage their own day.
